The Wisconsin Children’s Code specifies legal parameters for our involvement with families and our jurisdiction over children alleged to be in need of protection and services or, who are at risk of abuse and neglect (Ch. 48.13). In addition, there are times that we provide services to children, youth and families on a voluntary basis when the child / youth has significant special needs. We provide services to all residents of Ozaukee County.
